Multimode TV Exciter

MEXII is a new generation of UHF/VHF multimode Exciters covering all the Digital and Analog TV standards with advanced control and supervision functions.

All operations necessary for the generation of a high quality RF signal, in accordance with all analog television standards (ATV) B/G/D/K/M/N (including NICAM) and digital television standards (DTV) DVB-T/H, ATSC 3.0, DVB-T2, ISDB-Tb, are completely performed by a Real Time Digital Signal Processing using a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array).

By loading two different firmware in the memory card, the modulator can operate as Dual Cast, with the possibility to switch from analog to digital transmission with a simple command (local or remote).

Compact DTV Transmitters

ALPAN represents the new Compact transmitters line made by Itelco-Electrosys capable to deliver from 35W up to 800W in ATSC standard (60W up to 1.4kW ATV standard).

The core of this line is the MEXII multimode exciter combined with the Thalna air cooled amplification modules structure.

The integration of technologies related to MEX and Thalna lines allow impressive levels in compactness, modularity and redundancy, well applied to the design of the transmitter as well as of the cooling system.

The homogeneity among all product lines and the manufacturing process optimization allow Itelco-Electrosys to be extremely competitive, meeting the customers’ needs in terms of operating cost reduction, ease of maintenance and spare parts management.

DTV Transmitters

The THALNA line is the result of years long research in terms of reliability – size reduction – structural simplicity – modularity and scalability – competitive price.

Thalna air cooled transmitters perfectly meet the needs of customers that require medium power solutions.

The line is able to deliver from 800W up to 3.2kWrms in the ATSC standard (up to 6kWps Analog), implemented on a single rack (19”).

Its qualities of compactness, modularity and redundancy have been applied to the transmitter design as well as of the cooling system.

The new line maintains the traditional safety features of Itelco-Electrosys transmitters and improves the ease of access by the operators thanks to the extremely simple design.

The homogeneity between product lines and the manufacturing process optimization makes Itelco-Electrosys offer, meeting also customer needs in terms of operating costs reduction, ease of maintenance and spare parts management, extremely competitive.

Its qualities of compactness, modularity and redundancy have been applied to the design of the transmitter design as well as of the cooling system.
